This server has no music provider configured, so rooms can be created but nothing will play. Add YOUTUBE_API_KEY or the Spotify keys and restart. See the README for the walkthrough.

How it works

  1. 1 Start a room Pick YouTube or Spotify and you get a five character code.
  2. 2 Everyone joins Guests scan the code and add songs from their own phones.
  3. 3 The room decides Thumbs up, meh, or next. Half the room votes next and the song ends early.

How to host on a TV

YouTube Open Big screen and put that picture on the TV. HDMI is the sure path. A TV browser or screen mirroring also works. Keep the player visible.
Spotify Connect Premium in Host settings and pick the TV or a speaker. The jukebox screen can sleep.
